STATEMENT OF FAITH

 

We believe that there is only one true eternal God, who is the Creator and Redeemer of all. He was, He is, and He will be forever. We believe that God exists and has revealed Himself as God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ/Yeshua), and God the Holy Spirit. He is the Great I Am whose name is Jehovah. He embodies perfect holiness, justice, mercy, and love.

We believe that mankind was made in the image of God (Yahweh) and brought into a personal relationship of faith and covenant with Him, but our willful rejection of this relationship resulted in sin and its consequences (death) entering the world.

(Gen.1:26-27, Gen.3:1-19, Rom.3:23)

 

 

We believe that our Messiah Yeshua (Jesus Christ), the only Son of Almighty God, blameless and Himself fully God, was conceived through the Spirit, born of a virgin named Mary, and came as a man to die for our sins on the cross. When we could not ourselves satisfy the requirements of God's Law (Torah), Yeshua took the curse of our sin upon Himself and was sent as the perfect and willing sacrificial Lamb of God to restore us back into covenant with our Creator.

We believe Yeshua rose again to life after three days, appeared to and broke bread with His disciples for forty days before ascending into Heaven, and now sits at the right hand of God, interceding for us as our High Priest.

(Mark 16:19, Rom.8:31-35, Heb. 3:1; 4:14-16; 5:20-25)

 

 

We believe in salvation by grace that cannot be earned through works but can be seen through the Fruit of the Spirit in a believer's life. It is through the redemptive sacrifice of Yeshua on the cross that we have salvation from sin and freedom from the power of the enemy. We believe we are no longer under the law of sin and death any more; by the grace of the Holy Spirit, we are born again and living under the law of the Spirit which gives life. Now as those who have been saved, we believe that the word of God’s law, known as Torah, which means “God’s teaching and instruction,” will never pass away because God’s word is eternal and unchanging, and His Torah is now etched into our hearts through the Holy Spirit which dwells within us and calls for our obedience.

We believe in physical baptism by water as a demonstration of faith and true commitment to Christ and that this is followed by a spiritual baptism with the Holy Spirit. We believe the power of the Holy Spirit dwells within believers as a Comforter and Guide, and we believe the gifts of the Spirit are still at work today.

We believe that, through Yeshua, we who are saved are adopted and grafted into the family of God. Therefore, we believe we have a clear responsibility to love, bless, and pray for the salvation and restoration of our Jewish brothers and sisters who are God's chosen people.

We believe that, as followers of Yeshua, it is our calling to follow the First and Greatest Commandment: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.” We believe we are also called to “love our neighbors as ourselves” by supporting and positively influencing the communities we live in and the greater body of Christ through prayer, teaching, and acts of service.

We believe that all Biblical Scripture is God-breathed and God-inspired, true and eternal, and forever relevant.

We believe in the Second Coming of Yeshua, and that all who believe in Him and repent of their sins will have eternal life in Heaven with our Lord and Savior.

我們相信只有一位永生真神。祂既是創世主也是救世主。祂是昔在, 今在, 以後永在的神。我們相信祂是獨一真神, 祂是自有永有的耶和華神, 祂以三個位格向世人彰顯:聖父;聖子耶穌;聖靈。

我們相信神是完全聖潔,公義,憐憫,慈愛。

我們相信人類是按耶和華神的形象所造,被帶進入與神的信心和立約的親密關係中。但因為人對這關係的背逆抵擋,而墮入罪中,也把罪的後果,就是死帶入了世界。

(創世記一章26-27節,創世記三章1-19節,羅馬書三章23節)

 

 

我們相信我們的彌賽亞主耶穌是父神的獨生子,完全聖潔,是完全的神,祂藉聖靈感孕,從童貞女瑪利亞降生成為人,為了我們的罪死在十字架上,是因為我們無法滿足神的律法(妥拉)所要求的,祂為我們成了律法的咒詛,耶穌是神的完美羔羊,祂甘心獻上自己來恢復我們與神的約。

我們相信主耶穌三天之後復活,復活之後在地上四十天之久, 顯現給祂的門徒看並一起擘餅,後來升天,現在坐在父神右邊,成為我們的大祭司為我們代求。

(馬可福音十六章19節,羅馬書八章31-35節)

 

 

我們相信因神的恩典而得的救恩是白白得的,是無法藉由我們自己的努力而獲得的,得救可以從信徒生命中聖靈所結的果子看到。救恩是通過主耶穌在十字架獻上贖罪祭,使我們可以脫離罪的捆綁和撒旦的權勢。

我們相信我們已經不在「罪和死的律法」下, 藉著聖靈重生, 使我們現在得以活在「賜生命聖靈的律法」下了.

我們相信被翻成「律法」的「妥拉 Torah」, 原文的真意是: 「神的教導和訓誨」,永遠不會被廢掉, 因為神的話是永遠不變的,現在更是藉內住的聖靈刻在我們的心版上了, 所以我們仍然需要遵行.

我們相信水的浸禮表明了信心和真正委身跟隨耶穌。隨後的是經歷聖靈的洗。我們相信聖靈的能力進入信徒的裡面能夠安慰和引領。我們也相信聖靈的恩賜今天仍然運行。

我們相信通過主耶穌,我們得救被接納,‘嫁接’進入神的家。因此,我們應該要去愛,祝福神所揀選的猶太人弟兄姊妹,祈禱他們的得救和恢復與神的關係。

我們相信我們都是主耶穌的門徒,神呼召我們遵行第一誡命:盡心,盡性, 盡力愛神。神也呼召我們以禱告,教導,積極參與服事我們所居住的地方和基督在各處的‘身體’來‘愛人如己’。

(馬太福音廿二37-40,馬太福音廿五34-45,使徒行傳二章42-47,希伯來書十二章14節)

 

 

我們相信所有的聖經經文都是由神吹氣和神感動而成的,是永遠的真理。

(民數記廿三章19節,約翰福音一章1-14節,提摩太後書三章15-17節)

 

 

我們相信主耶穌會第二次再來。所有信祂並悔改自己的罪的人,會在天上與救贖主永遠在一起。
